Juvenile Nabbed For Breaking Into CT Home, Entering Girl's Bedroom, Police Say

A juvenile has been arrested for allegedly entering a Connecticut home and then a young girl's bedroom during the early morning hours.

The incident took place in Hartford County around 4:40 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 10 in Bristol on Ivy Drive.

The suspect had entered the home and proceeded to the bedroom of a juvenile female. When confronted, the suspect immediately fled from the home without further incident, said Det. Lt. Michael Duval, of the Bristol Police.

A juvenile male suspect was identified and arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 13, Duval said.

The unidentified juvenile due to his age was charged with:

  • Home invasion
  • Burglary 
  • Risk of injury to a minor
  • Disorderly conduct 

He will be arraigned in New Britain Superior Court, Juvenile Matters.
